Undergraduate Research Scholars Faculty Mentorship Program

The Graduate College, with a grant from the Unidel Foundation, Inc., has the opportunity to support another cohort of undergraduate students from other institutions to participate in the Undergraduate Research Scholars Program for 10 weeks in the summer, at the University of Delaware. The program will offer a stipend to the students as well as provide housing and pay for round trip transportation.

The program is intended to prepare, motivate, encourage and support students who want to learn more about the graduate school experience and possibly pursue an academic career in research. As a faculty mentor in the summer program you will work closely with a student to conduct research that the student will present at the UD Undergraduate Research Symposium in August. The objective of the summer program is for the students to be immersed in a research project, work closely with faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers and learn first-hand about graduate programs at the University of Delaware and develop a valuable network of contacts who can support and assist them as they hopefully apply to graduate school at UD.

Please fill out the form below if you are interested in participating in this year’s URS program as a Faculty Mentor.
