Nursing: Post Master’s Certificate Program CERT

The University of Delaware Post Master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program, prepares graduates to deliver high quality care to patient populations across the mental health and substance disorder continuum. We include cutting-edge neuroscience, evidence-based practice, classical theoretical underpinnings, and innovative holistic modalities in the PMHNP program, so that our practitioners are prepared to provide both psychotherapy and medication management to promote optimal health outcomes in individuals, families, and communities. The Family Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner prepares graduates who are eligible to sit for national certification exams and subsequently will be eligible for state licensure.
