Hi, I am proficient in 3 languages: Urdu, English and Punjabi. I love learning new things and sharing knowledge with others.

I am currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard and am assigned to UD to complete a Master’s in Marine Policy.

I just got back from a trip to Bergen, Norway.

I have performed with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra as part of a choir tour with the UD Chorale!

I love traveling and I have visited 5 out of 6 continents while in college. I speak 5 foreign languages: Albanian, Italian, German, Spanish, and English.

I am from Thailand, working as a civil engineer in Coastal field. I lived in the Netherlands for 2 years during my master study. I did my trainee in Dubai on a large-scale reclamation project in the sea. I have vast experience in the field of civil engineering. I am an easy going and open-minded person. I love many kinds of sport. Despite that, football in US will be new experience for me.

1. Completed my undergraduate degree at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP – class of 2019) where I received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Geosciences with a minor in Geography and Geospatial Techniques. During my time at IUP, I participated in research involving the critical zone, with a focus in hydrogeology and near-surface geophysics.
2. Will be working toward a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Geography on a teaching assistantship in the Geography Department here at UDel

My favorite food is pizza!

I started a shoe business on eBay in high school.

I was adopted from Haiti when I was ten years old when my parents visited my orphanage on a mission trip. I am the only child, (older siblings were already adults when I came to America). I am the youngest child, (my two adoptive siblings are older). I am the oldest child (my biological siblings are six and eight years younger than me). My adoptive family is an example of racial reconciliation as they are white. They are old enough to be my grandparents as they adopted late in life after my older siblings were gone.

My only celebrity encounter was Ed Sheeran, who was inconspicuously riding the MTA line to Brewster, Connecticut. We said, “hi” to one another and never spoke again for the entire 1.5 hour train ride.

I hate my life every morning because I have to get up,even-though I work night shift.

I am back to school after a 15 year break!  My two kids who I’ve stayed home with since they were born are headed to school as a 2nd grader and a kindergartner this fall.  I decided I would be lonely at home without them, so it’s back to school for me as well!

I retired from the United States Army after serving 21 years. I am a 2019 Graduate of the University of Delaware receiving my undergrad in political science and history (BA). I am honored to attend the Biden Institute and look forward to earning my MPA in a prestigious institute named after the former Vice President.

Quilting is one of my hobbies

I consider myself an advocate and ally to those that are disabled. I spend my summers working at a school for children with severe special needs and have volunteered at a camp for individuals with Autism.

I like traveling and cooking.

I played collegiate golf as an undergraduate.

I completed my undergraduate degree at Wayne State University in Detroit.

I was a competitive dancer for 10 years

When I was an undergraduate, I was selected to audition for the Jeopardy College Championship. Ultimately, I did not make it on the show, but it was an enjoyable and memorable experience.
