A big foodie

The only sport I follow is soccer and my favorite club is Chelsea FC.

My husband and I were classmates from undergraduate school in China, we successfully applied the same graduate school for the master program at the University of Florida, then we married in Florida. And now, we are still in the same graduate school, UD, this could be the end of our school life, so I’m very glad that we can be school fellows forever.

I moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma for college and owned a horse before I owned a car (which is normal in Oklahoma, not so much where I was raised in Maryland)!

Prefers birds over cats and dogs.

I have a strong creative side in addition to my scientific side, as I play the saxophone and like to draw.

I was a cheerleader in high school and college for a total of 5 years.

I can speak English, Spanish, and Hindi, and I am learning Arabic.

I recently started rock climbing

I have the same birthday as my brother 5 years apart.

I walked across Spain. It took six weeks.

I used to live in philly, one of the best city to live in when we are young.

I speak three languages.

Based on my friend’s compliments, I have a nice voice when singing.

Graduated in 2018, went to work for a year, and decided to go back for Master.

I play oud and sing. In 2012, I was registered a bachelor’s program without my knowledge although I did not know where the campus was.

I traveled to France and Italy this summer!

I have a knife tattooed on my forearm because I love to cook!

Last two years, I was responsible for welcoming activities (and all other activities throughout the year) at my home university.

I played the cello for 7 years and I forgot how to read sheet music.

I went to China for 2 months this summer.

I did bujgee jumping at “The Last Resort” in Kathmandu, Nepal, despite my fear of heights.

I like to paint, and it became a way for me to relax in undergrad!

I have a 56.5 TWD debt to the Taiwanese government as of this past summer.

I love hiking and cycling

I love sports especially basket ball games . I love working  and studying

I drive a Jeep Wrangler and I love to go exploring, fishing, hiking/trekking, cycling/mountain biking, and anything to do outside!

I visited Iceland for a week in May this year.

I can play the accordion

Enjoys running and has run several ultra marathons.

I have a pet bunny named Cilantro.

Prior to moving to Newark, I have only lived in cities that start with the letter “P” including Philadelphia, Poughkeepsie, Pittsburgh, Paris and Providence.
