The purpose of the MA in Childhood Foreign Language Education is to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills needed to teach effectively in the dual language immersion classroom. This interdisciplinary program provides the opportunity for professional growth in the areas of linguistic and cultural proficiency, as well as teaching methodology. There is a part-time option for in-service teachers.

Current UD undergraduate students can be considered for admission to the 4+1 BS in Early Childhood Education/MA in Childhood Foreign Language Education or the 4+1 BS in Elementary Teach Education/MA in Childhood Foreign Language Development programs.

UD Tuition:

The University of Delaware published graduate student tuition base rate for graduate credit in 2016-17 is $1,720 per credit hour. UD Deans may offer adjustments to students in specific programs that may reduce the per credit costs.
