The MS in Finance program provides instruction in the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to be innovative, well-informed, and experienced finance professionals.

A dual degree in the MBA & MS in Finance programs is available to graduate students.

The Finance Program also offers a 4+1 program that provides the opportunity for talented students to complete a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s Degree in Finance in less time, less cost as 6 credits of graduate-level Finance courses in the Senior year may be dual-counted toward both the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Total credits required for both degrees is 145 (rather than 151).

Graduate Certificate in Particle Technology CERT

The Graduate Certificate in Particle Technology is offered by the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and is administered through the Engineering Outreach Program. This certificate is designed for engineering professionals working in the process industries and/or for undergraduate or graduate engineers desiring to expand their knowledge of particle technology. The objective is to equip professionals with the knowledge and ability to meet the expectations of employers in the processing industry with respect to particle technology expertise.

Powders and particulate solids are commonplace in the process industries but are not treated in depth in the undergraduate engineering curricula. The Graduate Certificate in Particle Technology is designed to fill that gap for the practicing engineer or for undergraduates anticipating industrial employment. This certificate is offered through the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and is administered through the Professional Engineering Outreach Program.

MBA Pathways Program Non Degree

The Pathways Program offers the opportunity for business professionals to take up to three MBA or other UD business graduate degree courses before officially pursuing an MBA degree. This option is a good choice if you have not yet had an opportunity to take the GMAT or if you want to try out some courses to see if a UD business graduate degree is appropriate for you. Applicants must meet all admission requirements for the MBA program EXCEPT submitting a GMAT score.

The University of Delaware Post Master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program, prepares graduates to deliver high quality care to patient populations across the mental health and substance disorder continuum. We include cutting-edge neuroscience, evidence-based practice, classical theoretical underpinnings, and innovative holistic modalities in the PMHNP program, so that our practitioners are prepared to provide both psychotherapy and medication management to promote optimal health outcomes in individuals, families, and communities. Traditional Degrees

There are major categories of degrees available for Graduate level studies at the University of Delaware that include master’s and doctoral degrees. Earning one of these degrees can take 2-8 years, depending on the level of the degree and field of study.

Dual Degrees

The University of Delaware offers students the opportunity to simultaneously complete more than one graduate level degree. Important features include:

The program guidelines for dual degree programs identify the number of credits required for the combined degree. However, the general standard is that completing a combined program results in fewer number of credits required than if each degree was completed as a separate degree.

To be eligible for a dual degree, both degrees must be awarded simultaneously as the total number of credits required is based on the program guidelines for the dual degree.

4+1 Degrees

Undergraduate UD students have the opportunity to complete a traditional four-year bachelor’s program plus a master’s program in one additional (+1) year.

Application deadlines are based on the current year/level of the UD student as they must apply no later than their Junior year (allowing for overlap of graduate and undergraduate coursework during their senior year).

University of Delaware offers practical, concentrated study in a specific professional area to help you change careers, explore a new field, gain credentials, and acquire practical new skills and knowledge.

 

Partnerships

The University of Delaware and Thomas Jefferson University offer a reciprocal graduate enrollment program. Full-time graduate students at each institution can attend classes at the partner school at no cost.

Full-time matriculated graduate students at the University of Delaware and Thomas Jefferson University are eligible for this program.A completed permission form for reciprocal registration between University of Delaware and Thomas Jefferson University must be submitted to the coordinator at your home institution:
